Park Music

Eastridge Park Music Ministry is focused on using music as a tool to enhance worship, promote outreach to the community, and provide an opportunity for personal growth both spiritually and musically.

This is a choir comprised of saints who enjoy singing. High schoolers and adults are welcome. There are no auditions required to be in this choir. The Unity Choir sings each Sunday in the 10:15 AM worship service. They also present special and seasonal programs each year, which may include patriotic presentations, hymn festivals, an Easter musical and Christmas concerts.
The Unity Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Contact Music Director, Jerry Cornish, to join us.

The Christmas Choir is in session! It is comprised of the Unity Choir and other individuals who want to participate in the annual Christmas Musical. They practice together starting in September. Christmas Choir participants are given a vocal part CD and a book to help them learn their part. The December presentation is accompanied by the piano and a marvelous string ensemble.

Rehearsals have begun! 7:00-7:30PM every Wednesday until the performance on December 17 in the Sunday morning worship service. A dress rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday morning, December 16 in the sanctuary. Contact Music Director, Jerry Cornish, for more information.

Other ensembles are available for qualified singers and musicians. “Fresh Wind and Fire” and “Heart of Worship” are small ensembles who perform well prepared pieces in the morning worship service about once a month. “Fresh Wind and Fire” has it’s own group of instrumentalists who are integral to the group. Members of these two groups join by audition.
Other small duets, trios and groups are formed ad hoc. They practice and perform often for morning worship services.
“Fresh Wind and Fire” and “Heart of Worship” rehearse weekly. Contact Music Director, Jerry Cornish, for more information.

The Quoting Choir is comprised of individuals who value the scriptures enough to dramatize and present passages together. They speak and illustrate the Word of God in unison with inflection and actions. The group performs infrequently and is open to all ages.
