Discover YOUR Spiritual Gifts

Spiritual gifts inventories are everywhere these days.  You must think about some issues before considering which one to use.  One issue will be what gifts you want to measure.  Some tests are very simple and cover a limited number of gifts.  Some are expansive and even add gifts that are not mentioned specifically in Scripture (music, intercession).  Some are open to the more controversial gifts (tongues, miracles, healing, etc.) while some don't acknowledge them at all.  After trying several of the online tests, you will probably find the results pretty consistent.

Just try several of the online inventories yourself.  See which one/ones seems closest to the information you think would help you sort out your areas of strength.  You will find that you can go through the inventories in a just a few minutes.  With several sets of results before you, it will be easier to see the one with the most useful information.

  1. One that seems to use a short list of gifts and offers a lot of ways to interconnect the whole church's responses is at: http://www.churchgrowth.org/analysis/intro.html

  1. Try the short-version test at http://mintools.com/spiritual-gifts-test.htm and found it pretty accurate.  This is a more comprehensive list of gifts.
